Do I need a SIM card for Kamaku to work?
No, Kamaku does not require a SIM card for the Starter Plan, which means you can monitor your pet completely free of charge. There are no subscription fees or hidden costs associated with the Starter Plan, making it an affordable, zero-cost option for basic tracking and safety. For the Basic, Premium and Elite Plans, Kamaku includes a built-in SIM card that enables enhanced connectivity. This integrated SIM allows for a range of advanced features, such as real-time health monitoring, customizable alerts, and the ability to set up multiple geofences. These additional functionalities ensure that you have comprehensive control over your pet’s safety and well-being, giving you peace of mind regardless of where you are.
What health metrics does Kamaku track?
Kamaku tracks various health indicators such as steps, activity levels, sleep quality, barking and, for Premium and Elite users, water intake and calorie consumption. With custom alerts, the device can notify users of any unusual behaviour patterns, providing early detection of potential health concerns. While Kamaku is not a replacement for veterinary care, it provides continuous data on your pet’s daily activities and habits, allowing you to quickly identify changes in health and act when needed.
How accurate is the location tracking, and how does it perform in remote areas?
Kamaku offers highly accurate GPS tracking, supporting up to 365 days of location history for the Premium Plan and up to 3 years or more for the Elite Plan. Additionally, geofencing alerts are triggered when your pet leaves a predefined safe zone, ensuring maximum security. Additionally, Kamaku provides reliable tracking even in remote or rural areas where cellular coverage might be poor, allowing you to monitor your pet's location without worrying about signal loss, whether in urban or rural environments.
How long does the battery last, and how do I charge the device?
Kamaku’s battery lasts up to 120 days on standby or 7 days with continuous use, making it one of the longest-lasting wearables on the market. The device charges wirelessly using a charging base, which is easy to set up and provides a quick charge. It takes approximately 1-2 hours for a full charge, ensuring minimal downtime for your pet’s tracker
Is the device waterproof?

Can I switch between subscription plans?
Yes, Kamaku subscriptions are monthly-based, allowing users to upgrade or downgrade plans easily. This flexibility ensures that you can adjust your subscription as your needs change, such as adding more pets or needing more advanced health monitoring.
Is there a free trial period for Syntheption subscriptions?
Yes, every user is granted a one-month free trial of the higher subscription tier than the one they are currently contracted to. For example, if you sign up for the Starter Plan (€0/year), you can access the features of the Basic Plan for the first month at no cost. It's important to note that this one-month free trial will not automatically continue after the trial period unless you explicitly express your desire to upgrade. Additionally, when you contract the Starter Plan, we do not ask for any payment method. Payment information is only required when you decide to contract a subscription plan that involves payment. This trial is a great opportunity to evaluate whether the additional features of the higher tier meet your needs before making any financial commitment.
